This appp does not work installed it three times it wont connect what a waste of $50

OK, my initial review and expereince wasn’t great. It was actually pretty bad! A few days later and talking with their super quick support team, things look much better. First, I haven’t encountered any sort of “crash”. There’s nothing to crash anyway! Connectivity issue apparently was due to high demand and increase number of new users. They had this promotion for 7 days which iOS users could get the same App for free. I got it too! That explains why my connection kept dropping. But since last 24+ hours, things are back to normal. I love iOS version becasue it tells me what’s being blocked. Mostly are google spywares! The Mac version is not that informative. I was told they’re working on an updated version. Hopefully, soon enough. Am I recommending this? YES. But only if you care about your privacy while browsing or even certain applications which require constant Internet coonctivyt, Facebook, Tweeter and similar. One last note, this App doesn’t break anything online. You still need to have some Adblocker for your browsing pleasure, Safari’s extension page is a good place to find approved by Apple tools.

This app consistently times out during DNS resolution after it has been working great for roughly an hour or so. Turning off the app immediately solves the resolution problem. I am certain it is not the fault of my ISP or my equipment, as I work professionally in IT and networking. As much as I want to love this product, and as great as it is for the hour or so that it actually works before consistently failing, this product is simply unusable.

I bought this software and never has it ever opened! Its useless. Now I’m trying to figure out how to get a refund

Looking for an app to slow page loads to a crawl? Drop IP calls through RingCentral and Skype? Love to reboot? Then this is the app for you. Complete and total FAIL.

I’ve been using the free browser version of Disconnect (extensions). It seamed to be working good, sohowed the blocked sites, had a progress view area… I had great hope for the “PRO” version, but it was a bad idea and a waste of $40! The control and settings are NONEXISTENT! and i can also confirm that even you select the “start at login” option…. It will NOT start at the login, so you have to do it manually. And to actually make this software tottaly the opposit of there claim: “44% Faster” you have to know that even a simple google search going to fail! And to confirm this I was tring with and without the Privicy Pro. So it is DEFINATELY the one which makes the whole internet experience: FAIL! (errors and timeout messages) So If any of the Privicy Pro Team members are reading this, It would be great if they are make this thing work, or kindly refund my money!

I had the same experience as most, it seems. I read about this in the New York Times and bought it. Then I read the reviews. It took some work to get it going on the system. I e mailed the company, and they request I go to the Activity Monitor. I found the Privacy Pro in Memory, with a ghost icon. I clicked that and then it appeared on the menu bar as a ghost. I clicked that and the drop down menu has Turn on as the first choice, so I turned it on and the icon filled in. I then clicked start at log on (see picture above) and all seems to be working now. I took a star away because of the work around with the program to get it going.

THIS IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST OF THE BEST WHEN IT COMES TO VPN SERVICE AND SECURITY. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON OTHERS VPN’S THAT’S JUST GOING TO SLOW YOU DOWN. DISCONNECT ACTUALLY SPEEDS UP BROWSING BY BLOCKING ADS, TRACKERS, MALWARE ETC.

Blocking all that crap = crazy fast Internet!

it isnt masking/hiding my ip at all, how come and until then 1 star is still to many
